Gratitude Attitude: A Reminder to be Thankful
Here we are almost Thanksgiving. I don't know about you, but I've been so busy with work, photo sessions, photo editing, family, school and everything in between!

But I want to express how much gratitude I have for all of these things. November always reminds me to stop and reflect. I know its cliche, but Thanksgiving/November is like turning back the clocks is to changing the batteries in my smoke detectors. It reminds me to do it every year. Of course if I'm being honest, I should do it daily. We get one life, and life as we all know is full of stress and often we are operating on auto pilot or are just so overwhelmed its impossible to keep our heads above water sometimes. It's important to understand we all have stress even the most seemingly fortunate of us all, which means it's part of life and none of us are going to have a stress free life. So it's equally important to take stock of it all, the good and the bad.

Whether you call them blessings, gifts or luck. We all have them, no matter how small. The terrible stuff is also something to be grateful for. That's what makes us strong and resilient. Those terrible things are the unsung hero's of our lives. Be grateful. It will improve your outlook, fill your soul and even change your destiny!
While I am of course grateful for my family and friends, I am especially grateful for my clients who have given me the opportunity to capture there connections with their beloved animals.
I am always so fulfilled to be around both the animals and their owners and do what I love doing. It's truly a gift.

So I hope you too take a moment during this month of thanks to really stop and give yourself permission to enjoy your life and be grateful to all of the amazing people, experiences and things in your life.
I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving Day.
