Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away

It's been a few months since I've posted, but its for a really good reason! I have been working hard to expand my business to include equine photography. That's right my friends, I am in the horse business now.🐴 I have been busy these past few months learning and building my equine

portfolio. There is a lot to learn about horses and how to photograph them. But its been a

wonderful experience and I'm excited to share this with you and offer equine photography as part of Tricia Charles Photography's services.

I have loved horses since I was a kid. I find them so mystical and majestic. I'm always in awe when I'm in their presence. And yes I am that person that points and cries "A horse!" whenever I'm in a car and pass a horse on the side of the road. This endeavor has been a dream come true. I am excited to expand my creativity to another niche. I don't claim to be an expert in horses, I am still very new to this big world, but I'm finding my way. My photography is ever evolving but my style is there. I want my images to feel wondrous and powerful, bold and rich. And I think I've achieved that, but I'll let you be the judge.

My gratitude falls to those that helped me get here today. So many lovely people volunteered their time and their horses time so that I could practice and improve. It is a big job to care for a horse and prepare them for a photo session. That work does not go unnoticed. I am so grateful to all of them. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🙏

As for my business, I am still very much a canine photographer and that will not go away. I still absolutely love our canine friends and love what I do. My website now reflects both canine and equine photos and information. My pricing will not change, it will be the same pricing for canine and equine clients.

I am however offering a special introductory price for equine clients. For a limited time clients who book an equine session will receive 20% off their collection price. This offer will be available through the end of November 2023. Use code EQUINE23 when you book a session online. For more information about the collections I offer click here:

So without further a do, I have put together a little video of some of my new equine work. I can really see how my work has progressed since the beginning. I'd love to hear what you think, please leave comments below or on youtube.
