What they SAY...

Riley-611-Edit-13.jpg

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tricia Charles for a photoshoot featuring my Labrador Retriever, Riley, as part of Tricia's hunting dog portfolio project. We met at Veterans Park in Westborough, MA, at 7 am on a brisk Saturday morning, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

Tricia's professionalism and passion for photography were evident from the moment we arrived. Despite the early hour and chilly weather, she was full of energy and enthusiasm, which immediately put both Riley and me at ease. Her ability to connect with Riley and capture her personality and spirit was truly remarkable.

The setting at Veterans Park was perfect, and Tricia made excellent use of the natural surroundings to create stunning, dynamic shots. Her attention to detail and creative vision resulted in a series of photos that beautifully showcase Riley.

What impressed me the most was Tricia's patience and dedication. She took the time to get the perfect shots, never rushing the process and always ensuring that Riley was comfortable and engaged. Her expertise in working with animals was clear, and it made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.

I am beyond thrilled with the final images. Tricia managed to capture not just Riley's physical attributes, but also his joyful and playful nature. Each photo is a work of art that I will cherish forever.

I highly recommend Tricia Charles to anyone looking for a talented and passionate photographer, especially for pet photography. Her skill, creativity, and genuine love for her craft are unmatched. Thank you, Tricia, for an unforgettable photoshoot and for creating such beautiful memories of Riley!

PlanninG TOGETHER tO TREASUre YOUR BEST FRIEND fOR YeaRS TO cOMe

Our dogs are not just dogs, they are our family. Our horses are not just horses, they are our everything. They are both unconditionally loyal and loving. They are our best friends, our protectors. They deserve to be honored and cherished just as we would our human family.

This is why I am a canine and equine photographer. I want to provide you with not only a wonderful photo of your best friend, but commemorate them in a work of art that properly represents their importance to you. When you book a session with me, I will work with you to capture your four-legged pal's unique personality into a work of art that you can proudly hang in your home.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule our session, do I lose my session fee?
If you must cancel, you must notify me 3 days prior to the session date to qualify for a refund. If you must reschedule, I must be notified 3 days prior to the session date to reschedule to a new date as soon as possible. If notification is not made 3 days prior, your session retainer will not be refunded.
  • Where do you do business?
Tricia Charles Photography is based in Grafton Massachusetts. But is willing to travel throughout the New England area. Note that mileage fees do apply for any location outside a 30 mile radius of the Grafton area. For more information about my service area and mileage fees go to my service area map.
  • What if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
If rain or snow is in the forecast I will reach out the day before our session to reschedule for another day.
  • My dog isn't well trained and is really hyper, can I still schedule a session with you?
Yes! Most dogs are very excited to be the center of attention and are also distracted by the new environments. There are ways to focus a dog even if its just for a moment to capture those gorgeous shots. I recommend that if you have an active, young pup your dog will likely benefit from some exercise prior to the session. Take note: don’t wear your active dog completely out! If your dog is too tired or bored, they will look tired and bored in their photos.
  • Can I be in the photos with my horse or dog?
Yes, absolutely! I am versed in both canine, equine and human photography.
  • My dog can't be off leash, can I still schedule a session with you?
Yes! We can hold the session the entire time with your dog on a collar and lead, if a harness is what you usually use, please also bring a collar, during the actual photo shoot, the harness will need to be removed if possible, but a lead and collar can be used in its place.
  • Do you have a studio?
The great outdoors is my studio! Which means not only do you get more interesting photos, but I can meet you at a location that is more convenient for you.
  • What happens after the photo session?
I will get to work creating your images. We will then meet in a 2-3 weeks at the viewing session. I will show you the images I created and you will pick your most loved favorites to apply to your order. For more details, please visit my Sessions & Product page
