Canine Portraits,

shaped by connection

Natural light. Honest presence.
Artwork created to hold meaning, not just a memory.

Your dog has been there for the everyday moments and the milestones alike.

A living room with modern decor, featuring wooden accents and a framed picture of a brown dog sitting on autumn leaves, surrounded by various plants and decorative objects.

The quiet companionship, unwavering loyalty, and unique personality that make them such an important part of your life deserve more than photographs left on a phone.

My approach to canine portraiture is thoughtful, natural, and tailored to your dog, creating imagery that reflects who they are and the bond you share.

My goal is to create honest artwork, photograph with patience and care, and preserve the moments that matter most. The result is artwork designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

If you really don’t like being in photos,

I Can change your mind

I promise.

“Can you photograph only my Dog?”

Yes, absolutely. But,

Some clients prefer portraits focused entirely on their dog, while others choose to step into a few images together. Both are equally welcome.

I do often encourage clients to consider being photographed alongside their dog, even briefly. The connection you share, the familiar routines, and the small everyday moments often become the images people treasure most over time.

And if being in front of the camera feels intimidating, you're not alone. My approach to posing, light, and composition is designed to create portraits that feel natural, comfortable, and flattering without feeling forced.

Whether your session centers on your dog alone or the relationship you share together, the experience will always be thoughtful, relaxed, and tailored to you both.

Which type of Canine Photography would you prefer?

  • A woman with long blonde hair wearing a red and black checkered shirt and black pants kneels on the grass with three dogs in a park with autumn-colored trees. One dog is a tan and gray mixed breed wearing a red checkered bandana, another is a black Labrador Retriever also in a red checkered bandana, and the third is a black dog that is sitting.

    Outdoor on Location

Natural, relaxed portraits created in open fields, wooded trails, and meaningful locations that reflect the beauty of both dog and landscape.

  • A smiling woman with long dark hair sitting outdoors in autumn, holding a small brown curly-haired dog. Sunlight filters through trees with orange and yellow leaves in the background. They are sitting on a blanket, with a grassy area in the foreground.

“My dog can’t be off lead…”

That’s completely okay. Most dogs are not photographed off lead during sessions.

Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first, and unless we are working in a fully secure space, they remain safely guided throughout the session.

I use subtle, unobtrusive handling to keep your dog supported while ensuring the focus stays on them. Any necessary elements can then be carefully removed during the finishing process.

There is often more happening behind the scenes than appears in the final portrait, but the artwork is created to feel natural, relaxed, and seamless.

Modern living room with white walls, large windows with sheer curtains, a beige armchair, a round side table, a fireplace with a fire, a stack of firewood, and a large framed photograph of a black dog in a fall outdoor setting.

A single, beautifully framed portrait designed to stand on its own.

The Signature Piece creates a refined focal point within your home, allowing the artwork and the story it tells to shine with simplicity and elegance. Whether displayed above a mantel, in an entryway, or as a statement in a favorite room, it is designed to be enjoyed every day.

Each piece is thoughtfully customized to complement both your portrait and your home. During your viewing session, I will present select images as artwork mockups, helping you visualize different presentation styles and explore what resonates most with your space and aesthetic. This allows you to make decisions with confidence rather than trying to imagine the finished piece on your own.

From size and presentation to frame style, matting, and glass selection, every detail is chosen with care to create a finished piece that reflects your style and complements your home beautifully.

The result is more than a photograph. It is a lasting piece of artwork that celebrates the bond you share and preserves it for years to come.
